Established business in 2002 after 25 years experience working with US multi-nationals, Japanese trading house and various European pesticide businesses gaining wide experience with proprietary and generic products.
Joined Agri-Nova in 2009 after 18 years with Schering, AgrEvo, Aventis and latterly BASF in technical and global commercial roles. Responsible for EU projects involving local country distribution partners and marketing support.
Aleksei Barulin has joined Agri-Nova from May 2011 as Regulatory Affairs Associate following his family’s relocation to the UK at the end of 2010.
Aleksei was previously Head of the Estonian Plant Protection Department of the Estonian Agricultural Board in Saku responsible for authorisation of PPP’s (new applications and mutual recognition procedures), post Annex 1 re-registration of PPP’s as well as assessment of active substances being considered for inclusion onto Annex 1 of Directive 91/414 as RMS.
A graduate in Material Science, Aleksei worked also as the Board’s Residue specialist from 2007 and is familiar with all aspects of registration of PPP in EU, having participated in many cross border working groups and training seminars on the new 1107/2009 Regulations as well Operator Exposure, Residue methodology and Risk assessment modelling.
